  1. What the hell's he challenging? UGHHHHHHHHHHH.
  2. First and goal! We need 7 NOW.
  3. Um, 15-18 for 142 and no turnovers compared to 10-20 for 132 and a pick. You're right he's not outplaying him at all. If anything NEITHER quarterback has done anything big to have it called outplaying each other. I'll give ya Grossman is throwing some stupid passes. But to say Johnson is clearly outplaying Grossman isn't exactly true.
  4. Gotta get that running game going. It's been just terrible.
  5. What game are you watching? Bears vs. Vikings/Refs Oh please. The horse collar tackle was a bad call, I'll give you that. But what about that weak holding penalty they called on Maurice Mann when Chester had a 9 yard gain on the screen? It was a total no-call (just like the horse collar) but killed the Vikings drive. The off-sides call on Brown was tough to tell, but he got off the ball so damn quick I can see why they threw the flag. I should have known that if the game was like this you guys would only be complaining about the officials and talking about how you played as bad as possible. Typical Bears stuff. I guess we're seeing that Rex might not be where everyone thought he was yet. Play a decent defense and have to deal with a little pressure and you've seen what he's done. He should have given up a pick-6 to Sharper too. We'll see how he adjusts. Brad is outplaying him right now. Um, how the hell is Brad Johnson outplaying him. He's done very little at all in this game. If anything stupid penalties are killing the Bears and giving the Vikings the lead.
  6. They should come out in the second half and pummel this team.
  7. Anyone else think these announcers are just absolute morons? It's not even them saying anything bad about the Bears, theyre just wrong about half the things they say. I wish I could listen to the Bears radio team.
  8. No one is quitting on them. They're just playing bad. I still think they win this game.
  9. Holy crap!!! Big field position for the Bears now!
  10. I'd just like to see them call it both ways. Down 6-3 at the half considering they played absolutely terrible isn't too bad I guess.
  11. I don't remember the last time NFL Countdown covered the Bears this much. This is pretty amazing.
  12. I'll go with Bears 20 Vikings 17. Too close for my liking, but a win. I dont care if the Bears win by one point, they just need to win.
  13. I love Ditka. Any time anyone says anything about the Bears he jumps in. What a great man.
  14. They gave up 37 points to the 5th best team in the Big 10. I'm tempering my enthusiasm a bit. Looking at their impossible schedule, if they don't go to USC with one loss, Notre Dame should be embarrassed.
  15. Unreal. I hate Notre Dame.
  16. Solid win. Offense looked lackluster for the most part though. I do not want to see Marcus Woods returning punts anymore this season, he's terrible. Also, IMO, Earl Goldsmith OR Jimmy Jackson are the best RBs on this team. Not Woods and Temple. Our defense is spectacular. They bent a few times but didn't break. A huge FG block to keep our streak of never losing in a game this season alive. A few dropped INTs though. Chase looked great at times and meh at times. Got the job done though. Great pass to Franklin early. Franklin made that TD a lot more difficult than it should've been though. Great start for the Tigers, but none of it will matter if we lost to Colorado next weekend. Agreed. And we better get some fans in the seats as well. The attendance has been embarrassing thus far.
  17. Congrats to Missouri. Any chance they'll be ranked next week? No probably not, they haven't received many votes in either polls. And Mizzou actually started off 4-0 in 2003 before they lost to the stupid Jayhawks in the fifth game.
  18. Yeah I find it very odd. Anyways, I hope that idiot Schlereth (sp?) keeps picking against the Bears. Golic predicted 17-14 the Vikings. Honestly, the more I think about it, the more I like the Bears in this game. I don't care that it's in Minnesota, I really just think the Bears are the better team. I hope they prove it Sunday. Go Bears!
  19. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/features/talent Did he pick against them on tv too? I just wondered if he said anything specific about why he made this pick... Mike and Mike called him out on this asking "If you picked the Packers, Lions, and Vikings all over the Bears, you must think the Bears are the worst team in the NFCN, right?" I've never seen anyone back-pedal so fast. It was obvious he had no answer and was just throwing out random cliche's hoping that one would stick. He's an idiot. I hope he keeps picking against them. He obviously has some beef against the Bears. Whatever, I didnt hear it but it so unds like he just embarrassed himself.
  20. I hope people keep picking against the Bears. It's fine by me if the expectations are not raised for this team until later. This is the third week in a row that the Bears have been picked to be upset. Let them keep coming.
  21. YES! Bears are gonna win again.
  22. I, for one, thought it was hilarious when they just planted that flag midfield.
  23. So far he has an early lead. Hopefully this time it sticks.
  24. Terrible division eventually won by a very average Cardinals team. Nicely done by the Pirates though.
