  1. It's about time.
  2. Excellent. Man I am pumped for this game. LETS GO BEARS!
  3. Oh geez. Interesting that he thinks they can beat the Seahawks but not the Lions.
  4. Yeah that will be a nice game to watch tonight. Good quality SEC game (think it will be close until Auburn pulls away in the second half) on a Thursday night and we'll probably get a decent amount of talk on the Iowa/OSU game. This week is crawling. The worst part will be waiting all day Saturday. Well at least for the players and staff I guess. We'll get a full day of tailgating and basketball scrimmage in Carver to pass the time. Look out for Wazzu hosting USC on Saturday night. You gonna go to Gameday? If so (and I'd imagine it is) what time you getting there? I'm really jealous of all my friends who go to Iowa. They're living a dream this weekend!
  5. I hope so. The weekend really needs to come. I'm pretty pumped for the game. On mutigers.com, they said they expect 55,000-60,000 people. Hopefully we have a boisterous crowd to back our team this Saturday.
  6. Is it Saturday yet? This week is going by a little too slow for my liking. At least tonight we get an SEC matchup. Auburn at South Carolina. Carolina probably will have a rocking crowd, but unfortunately for them, Auburn is gonna beat them.
  7. Well that sucks. Shoulda walked Pujols.
  8. Kinda nice, isn't it? Anyways, as the game draws nearer, the most excited I get. I'm really pumped up for this game. Hopefully they cut down the penalties and get that running game going a little bit. Now would be a nice time for their first 100 yard rushing game from Jones or even Benson.
  9. That block was awesome. That place is going freakin crazy.
  10. Well, that depends. If the Bears come out and dominate like I'm predicting they will, it wont matter if gale sayers was supposed to be starting at HB. I have da bears holding seattle to 2 TD's or less and winning by 20 There's no way the Bears win by twenty. I think the Bears will win, even moreso with Alexander out, but twenty? Be realistic! I agree. I think it's gonna be a close game. With Alexander out, they can focus on stopping Hasselback and the passing game.
  11. :banned: Yeah, check the NSBB Facebook group to see what he thinks about that. For those of us who can't use facebook, can you copy and paste me a blurb...even if it's via pm. This is the extent of it. IMB's responses had me laughing pretty hard.
  12. Everything else is irrelevant this week. Seriously though there isn't much else this week. Georgia Tech/Va Tech could be a good matchup as could the two SEC games you have under the "good" category." Other than that the two Big 12 North games are probably the most interesting. Agreed. I really wanted to come up to Iowa for that game. I'm sure getting a ticket would be extremely tough if not impossible. If Iowa plays really well and Ohio State plays like it did against Cincinnati, an upset is very possible. I think Nebraska beats Kansas pretty handily. And as far as Mizzou/Colorado, I'm worried as well. Mizzou is ranked for the first time in forever, and Colorado played a better Georgia team tough. I'm hoping that, as TT suggested earlier, that loss demoralized them.
  13. Go Bears! I really wish I could go to this game. I'm sure its gonna be a crazy atmosphere.
  14. Bad News: Colorado almost won at Georgia last week A lot of the talent from the Barnett era is still there CU seems to be getting better each week Mason Crosby Good News: Home game, hopefully a Top 25 ranking and the start of conference season attracts a crowd CU still hasn't tasted victory, may be demoralized after last week's loss The 13 points Colorado scored last week was a season high, v. our D Our offense is struggling and still is putting up 30+ points a game Hopefully we'll get the ball and put up a quick lead like we've done in previous weeks. Colorado can't throw the ball and the crowd will get involved with an early advantage and with any hope they'll make a mistake and we jump on it. Agreed. We NEED a big crowd. At times during Ohio it actually got pretty loud. If we can get an additional 7-8 thousand fans in there, it'll be rocking. Hopefully the #25 will help attract people.
  15. Since Fox decided that commercials were more beneficial to us in Rams territory rather than the game, can someone explain what happened on 4th and 2?
  16. Bear down, Chicago Bears! Make every play clear the way to victory! Bear down, Chicago Bears! Put up a fight with a might so fearlessly! You're the pride and joy of Illinois Chicago Bears, Bear Down!!!
  17. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. I CANNOT BELIEVE THEY DID THAT.
  18. YES. Alrihgt defense. Pick it up.
  19. Come on Bears. It's there for you.
  20. D needs a turnover, otherwise, its over.
  21. Terrible pass to rush ratio today.
