2nd shot wasn't that bad. The up and down was butchered. Watson's mid range putting has always been his achilles heel, even when he was the best player in the world. And you're completely wrong about people not remembering this. The people who wouldn't remember don't follow the sport anyway. Everyone who actually likes/follows the sport will always remember it. Did you know that Watson has won more majors than Palmer? This isn't like an aged Kenny Perry or Fred Funk making a run. This is a top 10 player of all time and Nicklaus' TRUE rival. It's a huge story within the sport.
I welcome any and all potential bulletin board material from a division rival directed at a unit as unproven as the WR corps is this season. Hopefully they step up and don't fold under the scrutiny. Also, hawkeye, Eddie Royal was drafted outside the first round and had a big rookie year. Hopefully Cutler can replicate some of that success with Iglesias or Knox 8-)
2006 was great and the last few minutes of the MNF Cardinals game is the only thing I've ever seen compare to the pandemonium of the back to back OT wins via Mike Brown pick 6s in 2001. There was also that brief beriod in 2000 when Jim Miller to MRob/Engram looked like the Greatest Show on Turf.
Noah Boozer Deng Salmons Rose Bench: Miller, Pargo, Johnson, Gibson You add a competent back up 2/3 guy and that's a potential, young 50-55 win team with decent depth.
Boozer to the Bulls deal in the works per ESPN. I heard the same rumor through RealGM but this may give it legs now that ESPN is reporting it. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4317515
I like it. A floor spacer and a scorer off the bench is going to be needed to give us flexibility since Hinrich is basically a defensive stopper and part time offensive threat at this point.
So long, Ben. You were both infuriating and an absolute joy to watch sometimes. I'm going to hate seeing you in a Pistons uniform. There's definitely going to be some growing pains without him but I think it's probably for the better. I think Hinrich should probably stay unless you package him for a true difference maker. We're going to need another ball handler and we can still use his defense. I think we're going to need another 2/3.
