  1. I honestly think Taylor would be a top 10ish back in the league if he got more touches. Maybe he's protected in Minnesota but someone will make him a starter. He's very good.
  2. I think Westbrook could be more useful in a Martz system than any sort of "hammer". And Forte plus a hammer would really be undynamic as a RB group. I'm just annoyed that none of our RBs run with any authority. Forte was so tentative this year. Hopefully it's injury related and he can bounce back from it. I think whatever Westbrook offers is the stuff that Forte still does well. Maybe we can trade Forte and get Chester Taylor. That'd be nice.
  3. Well I guess if you want to break up the duties a bit you could go with Westbrook...I don't think he compliments Forte that well though. I'd rather have a hammer as the 2nd RB.
  4. Oregon usually waits until the season is at least a third of the way over before they implode under high expectations.
  5. Tyrus never got consistent minutes because he's probably the dumbest player in franchise history. Until the light bulb turns on he'll only ever tittilate, sadly. Anecdotally, it seems like those tweener forwards rarely turn out. If they turn out they're usually Al Harrington types. You can't win with those kinda guys. If you're lucky you get Josh Smith.
  6. Uh, no he's not. For a 26th pick. I mean. That's a pretty important clarification that you left out. Sure, he's awesome for a 26th pick because most of those guys aren't even capable of becoming basic rotation players. But he's nowhere near, and never will be near, awesome. And for all the talk about how great he's been playing lately, he's basically been averaging 8 points and 8 boards over the last month. He's serviceable for 20-25 minutes a game, but should never be the starting PF on a good team. I think he's growing into the Bulls' version of Ryan Theriot. Lots of fans inexplicably love the guy. 8 and 8 in 26 minutes. There's many teams that don't even get that out of starters let alone a rookie. Thomas never did it for an entire season. It's a lot easier to find Ryan Theriot than it is to find a good backup PF that is a serviceable starter as a rookie. He's old but I don't think he's reached his ceiling quite yet. If he could add bulk I would challenge the assertion that he should NEVER start for a good team. It's not like he would be anywhere near the worst big man on a title contending team. Look at the pu pu platter of crap Duncan played with up front after Robinson retired. And if you sign Bosh, Booz, Amare, etc. then great, you've got a great 3 man rotation in the front court for the next 5 years.
  7. Uh, no he's not. For a 26th pick. I mean.
  8. Well I don't know anyone on RealGM who posts here as well besides you. And you honestly might have been the 'worst' tonight. You were in rare form.
  9. Most entertaining part of the game was reading UMFan's sulleyesque meltdown on RealGM as it was happening.
  10. Horrible loss. The veterans outside of Flip were just horrid.
  11. Miller hasn't made a 3 in months.
  12. Great intensity and focus Luol.
  13. 80% of NBA coaches are recycled more often than cardboard. I'm not worried about not being able to fire him. Coaches with good records are canend all the time.
  14. The Wizards looking like the [expletive] Globetrotters out there.
  15. He's actually pretty good. Around 78% or something. But yeah those misses sucked.
  16. Haha. I dont have CSN so i'm just following on bulls.com. Was this one as epic as the one saturday night? Basically the same except it was a one hander. Directly off the back rim and popped way up.
  17. I can't even begin to explain this. Washington's throwing up a bunch of crap. ONLY MY TEAMS
  18. Noah blows another wide open dunk.
  19. Fail mode in full progress to start the 2nd half.
  20. We already have an unproductive RB who doesn't break tackles, can't make guys miss, and is a good pass catcher. Hopefully ours can blame it on injuries.
  21. Flip just dunked on Javale McGee. Did not see that coming.
  22. Noah's still playing his way back but is looking pretty spry. Gibson is awesome. JJ is finally showing some confidence.
  23. Yeah, he stopped playing in 2008 after the epic win in the US Open.
