You really think ND is going to put up that many points? Crist has a long way to go. Their defense can be better than mediocre though so they should be all right.

This Katz guy on Oregon State throws a beautiful ball. He's gonna be a real prospect.

They have no gamebreakers and they don't scheme to counter that. The pistol was an interesting change but the execution just wasn't there.

yeah as in, if they're ranked then they're way too high. I don't think either of these teams gets into the top 25 starting 2-0. There are a lot of people that are skeptical of both. Plus, I'm not expecting a clean win for either next week. Probably a close, somewhat sloppy game. I think the winner gets in fairly easily unless it's just a horrible mess of a game.

You'd be better off worrying about Oregon, Cal, Washington, etc. Even when UCLA gets the talent it doesn't really matter. It's a self fulfilling prophecy. They can't get good skill players (have they had one since MoJo D?) so they play really awful, boring offensive football and no one good gets fired up about going there.

It's not scheme. Or mostly not scheme. It's not being able to tackle or cover on the back end. The tackling was atrocious tonight. That's what happens when you don't hit all summer because your depth is gone to [expletive] and probably what I should be looking forward to until the sanctions are behind the program.

Cheap shot, lol. You're priceless. Not every time a quarterback gets drilled is a cheap shot, Raisin. It's a contact sport. He literally ducked his head at the last second before he got plowed.

This is literally like having Charlie Weis as your head coach. When you don't tackle in the offseason (or otherwise teach fundamentals) your decided schematic advantage goes out the window.

You can tell Lovie learned his defense from Monte Kiffin with the boring cover 2 that gets picked apart when you protect and the obvious, choreographed blitzes.
