    I'd give the core starters a quarter or so if the Bears can't the 1 seed.

    He got hit in the pocket quite a bit last night. The Eagles weren't focused, IMO. It's like they had never seen a corner blitz. Plus I worry about Cutler not having much to play for. As glorious as it would be to knock GB out on their field that seems like more of a motivation for fans. The Pack will be in desperation mode from kickoff...and they have a good pass rush to begin with.

    I know we have an outside shot at the #1 seed but I'd hate to see Cutler go out there and get knocked senseless because he and the offense in general aren't 100% focused. Seemed like it happened to the Eagles last night who thought the Vikings would be a walk over and Vick got smashed a few times.

    I don't think we'l make a move until Noah IS back personally. Or at the very least, not until right at the Feb 17th deadline, if he's not back by then. You're probably right.

    I don't see it either. I'm thinking if the Bulls trade Gibson for an SG they at least need a warm body big so Scal and Asik don't play big minutes until Noah gets back.

    Smith, Jackson, Mayo, C. Lee Someone in that group. Rip would be an upgrade but has a big cap number and I don't see how you get that deal done.

    I meant the royal we. ATL had an amazing defensive game plan against Brees and a lesser QB would've wilted.

    lol, fallen off? yah, if INT's is how you measure a good QB, and it isn't. He's first in completion %, second in TD's, third in passing yards. To be fair, passing yards isn't a really good way to measure how good a QB is either. To be fair, Brees is still really good and if you think he's bad you're dumb.

    Wow, Tirico just had one of the great announcer jinxes of all time. ATL first and goal from the 1: "No team has failed to score against New Orleans with 1st and goal from the 1 since 1998" *next play* Turner fumbles and NO recovers.

    Because it's depressing to watch him get killed out there, that's why. I've said repeatedly that them drafting Luck really isn't fair to him because he deserves a shot with a team whose coach hasn't quit on them and whose offensive line doesn't appear to be double agents, but the NFL is full of QBs unfairly being chucked out on their butts before they're clearly done. And I want Carolina to win games, and I think Luck's their best shot of doing that. luck is going to be about as successful as clausen. i don't see luck being anything special. Based on...? Pure contrarianism and literally nothing else.

    Isn't it just taken for granted that the NFC West team is going to get smoked by a WC?

    Leddy and Morin are both on the US World Juniors team. They're playing Finland atm.

    Yeah, if NO beats Atlanta we're pretty much forced to play Cutler no matter what Minnesota does.
