  1. How about he beats one on one press coverage for once
  2. These receivers are really good
  3. To be fair, Hester has been open 3 times and Cutler has missed him. I'm pretty sure most people agree the WRs aren't very good, especially against big, pressing DBs. Compare the separation hester gets to jennings. Its night and day. Yes. I don't think anyone has compared Hester to one of the 10 best WRs in football besides you. a lot of people on this board think receivers are just plug and play. as long as you have it talented qb that you can protect it doesn't matter who is running routes...its a joke

  5. Receivers are utterly in capable of getting open against good, focused DBs. And you weiners told me this unit wasnt a problem.
  6. Jay is off but but Hester can't get any separation either. need olsen
  7. These receivers cant get open
  8. adjustments plz
  9. heart attack mode
  10. http://www.chicagobears.com/multimedia/index.asp?MM_FILE_ID=2280 Footage of the 1941 game between Chicago and GB set to bonerific NFL Films music.
  11. Rose doesn't need a screen.
  12. Funk needs to reel him in.
  13. It's a simple game
  14. Maybe if we'll lose we'll make a move
  15. Yeah, it's pretty bad. I almost feel like you've got to build up a lead with Boozer while the opposing offense figures it out and then take out Boozer before they start stringing together a bunch of baskets around the rim.
  16. what the [expletive]
  17. Go away Cleveland
  18. Is this version of the Cavs the worst team ever?
  19. This is pretty terrible basketball.
  20. Yeah, I'm polyannaish on Webb. He's pretty talented and he's athletic enough to hold up in a 7 step drop. Seems like most of his problems are brain farts with blown assignments and getting owned on occasion by the straight up bull rush.
  21. I can't imagine Melo turning down an extension to play with Rose, Noah, and Boozer. Of course I can't imagine how we'd get him without giving up at least Noah in the first place. Thibs can turn anyone into a decent defender (except Boozer maybe). We're #1 in defensive efficiency with guys that were considered black holes on defense playing big minutes (Rose and Boozer). Deng is a phenomenal defender--few can guard a guy like Kobe one night and Dirk another night and do a good job of it--but Melo is an extraordinary scorer that the Bulls would kill for. I do consider the possibility that the Bulls could be better than losing a lot of talent (esp. Noah) for Melo by just getting a serviceable 2 guard that can guard and shoot (e.g. Mayo) for far cheaper. But standing pat? No, no way.
  22. You don't think we're a championship team with Rose, Melo, Boozer, and Noah? What more could you want?
  23. Don't agree with his comment on Melo at all. You have to do basically any non-Rose, non-Noah deal (and you have to at least consider some Melo packages that include Noah, IMO) for him. I'm pretty convinced that Thibs could turn someone of Melo's athleticism into a passable defender, not as good as Deng, but good enough. Rose's FG attempts do need to come down a bit anyway. They'd be a more balanced version of Miami with one of the best glue/energy guys at C and a semi-deep bench instead of the pu pu platter that Miami has to trot out there.
  24. He's going to have to be Iversonian for us to win without Boozer and Noah and what amounts to 2 on 5 on offense with Gibson, Thomas, and Bogans in the lineup. 9/28 looks bad but there's no way anyone else on the floor besides Deng can even get a look if Rose doesn't create for them, especially against a smart, veteran defensive team like Dallas that knows how to key in on guys. Although I'd explore Gibson in the post a little more...it's kind of weird that he settles for those jumpers when he was doing decent work on the block in the first month or so when Boozer was out. I noticed Watson was playing more with Rose in the 4th quarter last night which is something we should look at for scoring. The defense is sick though.
