    BTW what do southern cal fans really think of Kiffin? Is he a long-term answer or a stop gap to get thru the tough suspension period? Apathy. He can recruit and scheme offensively pretty well but it's kind of off putting to watch your head coach just stare at his call sheet all game instead of actually talking to his players. He has the reputation as a sour puss and his way to compensate for that is to do wacky two point conversions and have the center try to throw for first downs.

    Yeah, that would've been nice. I was just happy that Knox actually played defense when he needed to. Last year that would've been a pick in the end zone.

    If we're going to only send out a couple of guys out in patterns to help protect we could really use a stud out wide that can win battles in traffic. I mean we could use that anyway but I'd be all for getting Marshall and leaving extra men in protection.

    Harbaugh is a [expletive] weirdo. If you watched the end of the game live there was at least 15 seconds of him untucking his shirt and doing some sort of dry heave set to music on the sidelines before he ran out to midfield to do that weird handshake to Schwartz. Good coach though.

    This is probably the most even SC and ND have been on paper since the late 80s. Looking forward to it. This is our bowl game, pretty much.

    Those are some good ideas. I would add getting Cutler out of the pocket by design but I don't think those exist in Martz's playbook. I just hope Houston tanks again and we can hire Kubiak as OC.

    I remember when I was trying to get twitter updates about Lebron's pending free agency last year and I couldn't find it in the ocean of chatter about Chris Harris being on the trading block.

    So by hype you mean people on Bears-centric message boards who go out of their way to talk about the Bears with relative strangers thought it was a good move. Well even against that overwhelming hype machine he still played well last year.

    I think the guy hasn't been nearly as good as the hype that surrounded his return, and that was about as bad a game as you can have and still be employeed in the NFL. He was lost and incredibly slow. He's been good in a vacuum and better than whatever hype surrounded his return (because there wasn't any).
