    Yeah but they still have Philly (who knows if they get their [expletive] together by then), San Diego, Oakland (now tough because we cant stop the run), and 1 more against Detroit and Green Bay. The schedule is pretty tough this year. Philly is in Philly, but the Bears are coming off of a bye week. Eagles coming off of a game vs. Dallas. San Diego is in Chicago in late November, should be a factor Oakland will be tough, but you never know what you're going to get out of them (or the Bears really). They could come out and play well or lay an egg. 2nd Detroit game is also at home. Tampa is in a neutral site that should be a more pro-Bears crowd. The Bears should win Minnesota x 2, KC, Seattle, and Denver. Like to think they can take 1/2 of the other 6 (including MNF at Detroit). the bears won't be able to cover calvin johnson because people want to pull his pants down and put his dongle in their mouths and that is real cool imb needs someone to knob slob. Lebron won't play until 2012 and Sam Bradford is looking like an embarrassing mega bust

    I'm not so sure about that. How many former good college and NBDL quality players are already playing overseas? If it becomes really apparent that the season is going to be lost I could easily see dozens of teams in the different countries opening up a few roster spots a piece for NBA role players.

    I'm SICK..I'm just crying..seriously I am crying -- The Red Sox are part of my psyche since I was 3 years old and could remember wanting to play hardball. They said I couldn't cuz i was a girl, so I said I want to be a rabbi instead --- 1953 -- Nope they said can't do that so this little girl had to be satisfied watching from the bleachers...the two stories have no relation except my heart was and is broken -- The Red Sox, our beloved Red Sox -- I wore a Red Sox uniform to sleep when I was a kid. Boston my loved to the core Boston--I LOVE that city and this state SO much I would not care if it seceded from a union that does not work for me and so many others. So I am sad on many levels. I never became a rabbi, I never got to play baseball and now now again my heart is down to my toes as my country sinks to the bottom fast and elects a president I thought was going to be FDR -- FAR from it. I prayed this am.. I never pray not because it's Rosh Hashanna, the Jewish high holiday, maybe that is unique but I just prayed because I am SO sad. Life's dreams get shattered and you don't know why except maybe god if there is one has other plans! Please god can't you choose me to be on the lucky team just ONCE -- only once. Lucky are they who strike life's lottery. I didn't and the clock is running out on my game. If not now when?

    But that's the thing. We took the lead in that game. There's no reason, or excuse, for not winning game 7. We should have held that lead and won the game. Wood didn't look sharp at all from the very first inning though. Edit: I should say that Sosa's homer in Game 1 and Wood's homer in Game 7 were the most orgasmic events I have ever witnessed as a sports fan but the jubilation over the Wood homer didn't last long and I got that gnawing doubt back really fast.

    I'm astonished that anyone actually thought we'd win game 7. Even when Wood homered I was waiting for the other shoe to drop. Never, ever felt confident about that game for a second.

    I think the no audibles thing is really out of date in today's NFL. I think a big part of the success of the Rams was great personnel and being relentlessly aggressive with the play calling. Teams have adjusted to that and are willing to let the Bears try to attack over and over because the players are subpar. Cutler's played a lot of football and should have a free reign to adjust things at the line.

    USC is ripe for an ass kicking. Matt Barkley is making me pine for John David Booty.

    We also need some passing ideas besides Cutler taking a deep drop and expecting our receivers to get open 15-20+ yards down the field and having the protection hold up. Absolutely zero effort to get Cutler on the perimeter on roll/sprint outs, bootlegs, etc. Martz still thinks he has Warner and Bruce/Holt out there or something. He only called a screen on 3rd and mile a too when that's been the best weapon.
