  15. That would be pretty cool. I'd assume that there would be a [expletive] of back to backs, but oh well. We're always among the league leaders in that category anyway, so it couldn't hurt us, right? I can't believe they would do an 82 game season in a month shorter time frame. Would be pretty cool if true as the Bulls and OKC should be at an advantage compared to all the other contenders who are pretty old.
  16. fwiw, Broussard tweeted that progress has definitely been made on a new labor deal
  17. I'll add attending a Nadal/Djokovic (or Federer) caliber grand slam final. Men's tennis is pretty unreal in person.

  21. Everyone knows the funnest part of college sports is kvetching about John Calipari
  22. I know you're being sarcastic, but I want to talk about it anyway. The Packers will likely run the table against the AFC West with San Diego (away) being the most difficult matchup. Raiders (home) and Chiefs (away) look like push-overs. The other 6 games are Minnesota (home), TB (home), Detroit (away), New York Giants (away), Chicago (home), Detroit (home). Tampa Bay may or may not be a pushover. It depends on what team shows up. I think the Thanksgiving game will be a battle, but the Lions are definitely starting to look more vulnerable so I think GB wins. I really like that the Packers have four extra days to prepare for the Giants game (Giants are in NO on Monday night and Packers will be coming off the Thanksgiving game). I think the greatest chance to lose a regular season game will be either one of the last two games because if they are undefeated they will have already locked up homefield advantage and the games will probably be very important for both the Bears and Lions. im not being sarcastic at all. i dont see how they could ever lose. i'm not being a woe-is-me bears fan either; they're just an incredible team. If their defense rounds into shape it's all over.
  23. I'm very excited about the Lions potentially collapsing and seeing their dumb players spaz out
