    When the former players laugh at the guys doing statistical analysis and talk about them never playing, it's Cameron who I think of. No personality at all and has the "I'm smarter than you" attitude to go with it. He seems like the guy that doesn't believe in scouting.

    Schierholtz' RADED(Ribbiealldayeveryday) is 8.5 over Ruggiano. He's also more efficient phonetically, as he has 9 letters and only 2 syllabols, while Ruggiano has but 8 letters, burning 4 syllabols in the process.

    If you get Duffy, I think you'd still have to get Zimmer, and Almonte as well. I'm not a fan of Zimmer and missing all year doesn't help things there. But assuming Yordano is off the table, I think you have to get those 3. And I'd still prefer finding a package with less injury prone guys in it. Just not a fan of their system currently.

    Daniel Bard had a 175.50 ERA prior to getting cut. Without giving up a single hit. 9 walks and. 7 HBP's in 2/3 of an inning.

    So which is it? Has he thrown the cutter 21 times all year, 19.7% of the time, or 40% of the time? These numbers are so far off I question if any of them are correct.

    I'm one of the guys that really thought Olt was going to make it. I'm also usually one of the last guys to lose hope on prospects, as a rule. I hope we keep Olt up and give him consistent at bats again this season. Doesn't mean I think it's likely he'll produce, but maybe he salvages something. It's not likely and my expectations have dropped, but we're not bringing anyone important up, might as well give him enough time to where we're 100% sure, instead of 99%. I do still think he's got potential to help us as a backup 1B/3B/LF guy.
