ESPN announcers say they got word from the dugout that Nomar had re-injured himself. He wasn't overly limping, but you could see him talking to Dusty and then he grabbed all of his bats and walked to the clubhouse. Good thing he stayed in long enough to piss 2 runs down his leg. :roll:

PLEASE tell me idiot boy didn't call for a hit and run with Z batting? He sits with his thumb up his you know what watching Perez, Macias and lately Lee and Walker roll into them left and right without calling for 1.

Who's the 6th team ahead of us?? We're tied w/ Milwaukee and they're nothing to worry about. New York doesn't have the personnel either, and Florida may be too banged up. The teams the Cubs need to catch are Washington, PHilly and HOuston. Like other's have pointed out, there's still 8 games against Houston. As for Washington and Philly, there's nothing special about either team. Plus they are playing each other presently. We win, we are gaining on 1 or the other. Wash. and Philly are playing each other that is. -

Now, I understand all the crap Baker gets, but this is beyond his control. Fire Baker for starting Rusch instead of Rich Hill? Where did I say anything about Hill, or Rusch not starting for that matter?? I'm saying get Rusch out now, screw trying to milk 1 or 2 more innings out of him tonight and risk this 1 getting ouyt of hand. This is a MUST win game.
