The RHCP hate reminds me of the time when someone on this board hated Skynyrd because of Sweet Home Alabama. Yeah, they sold out and became more pop-y as time went by but there is more to their catalogue than their most mainstream stuff -- it shouldn't define them. There's legitimate musical talent as well.

I'm not shocked by many things these days but that is truly shocking and appalling. -
My buddy (also a buddy of notable poster KingCubsFan) was sitting next to him at a bar in the Toledo airport last night. Flight was extremely delayed so he definitely got to the hotel late. Of note: apparently he was an horsefeathers.

nah the beard has tough guy equivalent cliche has died now he just looks like he's hiding something and not the location of his next pitch since he has no idea where it'll go if he were god mode jake, it would look cool. he's giving up a HR on every other fly ball now so he just looks like a poseur. but when he was making MLB hitters look silly at will like he was horsefeathering bob gibson or something and flirting with no hitters like nolan ryan, he looked like a bad ass. TRYING TO DECIDE IF I LIKE THIS BEARD OR NOT

I initially read this as "dong shorts." Now, I can't decide which version is better.

I also really enjoyed the decade Sundays promo or whatever they called it in 2014, where they wore a different Cubs uniform from a different decade every Sunday. The Cubs have had some really cool/innovative uniforms and it was fun seeing them all in the same season. Wish they'd do that again.
