yeah, that was a weird question. florida too, obviously. just look at how easily cubs fans can get into road playoff games usually too. atlanta couldn't sell out damn playoff games. You guys are flat out nuts if you don't think all of those markets don't have terrible, obsessive sports media out the wazoo. Atlanta's got three miserable sports radio stations just like the Vaunted Chicago Sports Market. Florida has three dozen sports stations. California has twenty seven. Illinois? Only a whopping fifteen, less than the twenty that can be found here in Virginia. No one is arguing that other markets don't have terrible, obsessive sports media people. You implied that sports in other places were "a really big deal" everywhere, which isn't true. Also, the number of sports stations doesn't necessarily speak to obsession, it speaks to concentration.
