Oh he's a very good player. Very very good. And he's been awesome this year. And he's a catcher. And he's sexy. I just wouldn't use the word "best" with the phrase "hitter in baseball" when talking about Mauer. -

Everytime the camera's on him he's swearing. Just reminds me of a dirty old man, complaining because Glavine and Maddux only got 6 inches off the outside corner, not the usual 8 in Atlanta. Can't stand the guy.

Yeah, all this time I just thought they named it the Great American ballpark just to name it that. I always thought that about United Center. Before Comiskey changed it's name, Chicago had some very un-corporate sounding stadiums. I also feel like part of it has to do with a lot of people calling it "THE United Center" or "THE Great American Ball Park" instead of just using the proper noun, like "Quicken Loans Arena"
