  2. hahaha, we should totally do this! Can NSBB sponsor Kellie Pickler to be the host? She can't cost much these days...
  3. Yep. In other awful Cubs fan news, I saw the wave in the LF bleachers yesterday.
  4. Aram is returning to Wrigley tonight -- does he get booed?
  5. Don't know how to post without replying... Bleacher Patio from RF http://instagr.am/p/JDCDgSxg1H/ Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk
  6. Looks good. Will be interested in seeing it when on. I'll try to post a pic tomorrow when I'm in the park.
  7. Biggest difference seems to be the collar. They also look tighter but that could also be the mannequin "showroom" fit.
  8. They did...when we were good. They don't make fun of the opposing team all that much anymore. They will reference the other team from time to time, though. Huh.. don't seem to recall that. Cool blog btw -- thanks for sharing.
  9. last team the cubs played at wrigley last year Sure, but that's not the point. Nobody's looking at that sign in the offseason, why bother changing it in the offseason? But why was it Brewers centric in the first place? I've seen them sort of tease opposing teams, but that looks like an ad you'd actually see in Milwaukee. I don't think the Brewers ones usually tease the team vs. refer to them, for obvious reasons.
  10. Was I the only one surprised to hear that the season opened today? I knew that things were going to start in Tokyo, but it seems like the major networks didn't do as much promoting as usual.
  11. why? Thought it was unique; think the street vendor shirts are usually more creative. Not a huge fan of the "believe" part but w/e.
  12. I have the blue one. Never seen the red.
  13. He's probably going to say he wants to come here for the eye doctors.
  14. Gus + Raftery is my dream team. Neither are homers but both are outta control and huge fans of the game.
  15. Someone just sent me this Kyle Prater . If he can see the field this year he'll be a huge difference-maker, esp w the upcoming QB changes.
  16. This. I remember back in the day (2004-2005 season) when I went to the bar and had to ask 2 different people until they finally put the Bulls game on instead of something like college hockey or the Liberty Bowl. That was a really fun to watch team too
  17. I will say this again, Brown is amazing. I love his little phrases that seemingly take minutes for him to get out. "I tell you Chicago's a great town and these fans love the pro game" I really like Brown as well. The only thing that irritates me a bit, and I think he does it on purpose to squash any controversy, is his response to any borderline/bad calls. Any time there is a bad call and ESPN goes to the replay, he immediately says something like, "so that's an easy call, he got him with the left arm," when there is very very little contact if any at all. But I will always watch the national broadcast if I can. It makes it feel like a bigger game to me. Agree -- he does do that quite a bit. Most national guys do, with JVG being a notable exception.
  18. I'm fine with the color guy being a homer. The play by play guy should be more fair though, imo. It's my main problem with Funk. He thinks the Bulls are never ever at fault for anything, ever. Hell, King is more objective than Funk is a lot of times. There's no shortage of problems with Funk. That voice, that [expletive] voice. NBAAAAAAAA. Hang-time!

  20. Bosh is a tough matchup for him and Booz is exerting a lot of energy defending him (Bosh is 2-9). He's leading the team in assists FWIW. Bosh is playing like hes mentally challenged. That's not because of anything Boozer is doing.

  22. I love Hubie Brown
  23. What'd Rose say there?
  24. There's probably been more than a couple interactions delayed due to the smell of dead fish. God bless you, Mark Grace.
