    WAR uses xFIP? I thought it was based on actual, not prediction... fangraphs uses fielding independent numbers...but i think it's the FIP, not xFIP, which DUH that explains it BR uses ERA Yeah that's what I was getting at when I said prediction vs. actual. Also, didn't know about bWAR using ERA. Good info -- thx.

    the developer for Sonic admitted he came up with the idea for the game when trying to play Level 1-1 of the original SMB as fast as possible, which gave him the idea to create a mario clone with a super fast character. Maybe he should've tried beating SMB instead.

    Also, the first row sucks. The first row is recessed relative to the outfield wall, so your view can be partially blocked if you're shorter. Even if you're not, it can be annoying. For this reason, I always prefer to sit in the second row. You can get a sense for what I'm talking about in the below:

    It may have something to do with the vague wording. Yup. It goes from "slightly" to "significantly," when all I want to vote for is "I think the defense will be just OK." Which is fine. I get that these are sort of general terms with meanings that can be interpreted in many ways, but just OK is easily a significant improvement from dumpster fire.
