  1. Jeter -- such a consummate pro.
  2. I was just kidding, bruh. http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_man0zkusEM1qefhgc.gif
  3. Where's Neil Ramirez when you need him?
  4. Bring it back to Jeter!
  5. I'm looking forward to Buck's subtle digs at each of them. There's no way he doesn't mention Castro's "habitual laziness/lack of concentration" either in his first AB or when he comes in as a defensive sub. Nailed it.
  6. Fleeing Cuba to make millions as a professional baseball player... such a sacrifice. /sulley
  7. Buck still finds a way to mention Molina.
  8. Jeff PassanVerified account ‏@JeffPassan Adam Wainwright admitted he grooved a fastball to Derek Jeter in the first: “I was gonna give him a couple pipe shots. He deserved it."
  9. i didn't find that comment to be particularly offensive Mostly because it was designed to be verbally fellating and wasn't backed by any data, whatsoever.
  10. Who's playing short this half-inning? Oh, it's ALEXEIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII? YES YES YES YES HISTORY.
  11. He hits the best pitchers' best pitches? Wtf are they even talking about now?
  12. Simon trying to get him there.
  13. Haha that was hilarious.
  14. No player has impacted kids growing up more than Derek Jeter.
  15. Jeter is the guy you want the ball hit to with the game on the line? Lmao.
  16. Wow, these guys probably hate saying all of that [expletive] for Jeter, haha.
  17. [expletive] I love Darvish.
  18. Rosenthal was standing up during that entire interview.
  19. The Rich Harden deal didn't work out for us? [expletive] you, Buck.
  20. I've been to several home playoff games, including NLCS game 6 in '03 and the '98 Wild Card clincher. The moment when DeRosa stepped up to the plate is the loudest I've ever heard Wrigley while in attendance. I couldn't hear my own yelling. And when he GIDP, the silence was deafening. It could not have possibly been quieter than it was when one pitch Rich gave up the HR to Chris Young on the first effing pitch of the game. That place was a graveyard after that the rest of the night. Yeah that sucked too.
  21. Don't worry, they're here: Retweeted by Baseball's Best Fans Ryan Wilson ‏@Mr_RyN_93 5m Lucroy is choosing the worst pitches ever, if Yadi was behind the plate Waino would have 3k's right now #ASG2014 Retweeted by Baseball's Best Fans Blake Lutgen ‏@BlakeLutgen 4m If Yadi was calling the pitches, it would've been a 1, 2, 3 inning. Simple as that
  22. Shoulda started the best pitcher in the NL.
  23. This pitcher-batter matchup is so classy.
