So I'm in an NSBB league, and my team (despite miraculously being in first place after one week) is very mediocre, as a result of a poor draft. This was because of a number of factors that meant, I'm ashamed to admit, a) I was under-prepared for the draft, and b) I was heavily distracted during the draft. It didn't help that technical issues led to two unintentional picks, neither of which I'm crazy about. ANYWAY, I'm basically trying to find a creative way to make my team competitive - my pitching is particularly weak, both starting and relieving, so I figured picking up some high-upside starters might be a good idea in case I get lucky. Well, Rick Porcello fits the bill. He's obviously very talented, but he's very young and untested. Is he worth keeping on my roster? I picked him up from the FA pool, and when Max Scherzer gets off the DL, I'm gonna have to drop someone, and he might wind up being the victim. What do you guys think?
