  1. .314 xbabip, assuming neutral fortune he'd have a near .277/.358/.495 line* he's seemingly lost a ton of doubles to good defense/positioning, which i'm a little concerned might be predictable tendencies http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/player/anthony-rizzo/hitchart/1254792?q=anthony-rizzo all those outs on both foul lines shouldn't be happening under normal circumstances *(he should also probably have at least a couple more HR, too)
  2. it didn't affect the matchup anyway, but could somebody with commish powers please take away the 14.5 points my team earned from Lincecum yesterday for the sake of tiebreakers
  3. i wasn't able to beat the lineup lock and i'll probably have 8 starts as a result can i just get Lincecum's points taken off? i'd have benched him and he doesn't start til 8 PM
  4. hahaha, petition to have truffle's title changed to "abuse victim"
  5. that's a pretty weak version of amazing And yet in our system that's about as good as it gets. i had the stark realization the other day that there are two pitchers in the system who don't fill me with overwhelming despair

  7. i'd have to guess he meant to say SHINED
  8. the rules sticky says nothing about minors, but if that's been agreed upon separately like GR says then nevermind
  9. he Borbon'd it that was against the Reds too, wasn't it?
  10. hahaha and the game cuts to a shot of an angry Phillips on the bench yelling at his laptop
  11. and that's why you're not a gold glover, DatDudeBP
  12. saw one at cedar point last year, this guy had a cheesy looking royal flush with the caption (verbatim): "its the cards your delt in life, its how you play the game"
  13. i love walks after going down 0-2 in the count
  14. good, i don't want to squander the scorching hot month he's about to have
  15. this is what was agreed upon, so truffle loses highest scoring SP for each day for the last two weeks or whatever, right?
  16. while we're at it: jesus montero, josh rutledge, drew pomeranz are also in minors though they've exhausted eligibility (in Montero's case, by like 2 years) http://i39.tinypic.com/2sa01tt.jpg
  17. make 59 saves and still get dealt the loss, that's pretty rough
  18. and Ransom and his 1.195 OPS vs. lefties remains on the bench
  19. with such short benches, those guys had significant value already (i've been able to fill in Cuddyer at 1B, OF to cover for various injuries, suckitude) i guess they become marginally more valuable, but you're kind of overstating its importance- hell, certain managers have been finding great use for positional flexibility already in say, putting an actual 3B at short somehow, which is a much more significant advantage in my opinion
  20. 3 weeks ago, Baez's career A+ line was .221/.261/.423, with 27.8% K's now, 100 PA later, it's a much more respectable .265/.315/.526; lowered his Daytona K rate to 23.8% overall, too
  21. last 28 days: .374/.437/.725, 5.8% BB, 14.6% K, .386 babip great to see his K rate so low there
  22. .378/.447/.732, last three weeks
