  3. just awful even if i'd seen all these guys play, i'd still probably defer to the industry consensus over what my own uninformed eyes told me...passing on a consensus top-3 player for a player who's not even agreed upon to be clearly top-10 would be understandably disappointing to people
  4. he's a fringe-average defender
  5. What's been up with you lately? You're starting to make another turn toward cranky. when has my mood ever stopped me from making fun of you for being a dumb baby i think i know what it is, you must be on the rag

Why not 2012 to 2014? Why not 2014 alone? he played as a back-up in 2012, so it's not super relevant to how he compares to other full-time C using a reasonable time-frame nonetheless if you want to include it 2012 is a data point in his favor, as he played at 2.3 fWAR 120 G pace

  12. that's a clear weakness of K/9; his K% is 20.9%, not much different than teammate Zach Cates' 20% (and accompanying 6.85 K/9)
  13. 30 years old??? I guess we could use him for a year before flipping him for prospects. http://i.imgur.com/SYGwA97.gif
  14. not like it matters, but i see Gallo at .501 and Bryant in 2nd with .495 http://www.fangraphs.com/minorleaders.aspx?pos=all&stats=bat&lg=all&qual=100&type=1&season=2014&team=0&players=0

  17. well, he whiffs on 31% of his swings in AA, the same rate as 21yo Junior Lake
  18. It's not that bad. i just meant from the standpoint that i like 2.70 FIP / 3.11 xFIP pitchers, but that's more of a personal thing, i guess
  19. it's really too bad that they only had but one Jake Arrieta to give us
  20. Reynolds in high-A: .337/.422/.670
