BCS #5 UCLA is down 14-0. #9 FSU down 7 with less than 2:00 to go. #12 Wisconsin was blown out. #13 Oregon is tied with a good Cal team in the 4th quarter. #6 Miami could very well lose to #3 Va Tech tonight. We're on our way up, for sure. UCLA now down 21-0 according to ESPN.com!

Not a fan, but yes. Offensive coordinator quit/resigned/stepped down but will stay on staff through end of season. Fullmer to call plays Sort of true. Fulmer and the entire offensive staff will share playcalling duties. Sounds like a recipe for disaster. Tennessee's offense is just not good enough to keep up with ND's. GO IRISH!

If I wasn't dying to see USC beat UCLA by 3 scores before, I am now. UCLA has got to be the most overrated top-10 team I've seen all year.

If they sign Lofton to lead off, doesn't it make sense to just re-sign Nomar? He certainly will come much cheaper than Furcal (at least in base salary). If you sign Nomar instead of Furcal, that may give us the extra flexibility to sign Giles. Nomar- $5,000,000 Lofton- $2,000,000 Giles- $12,000,000 (up to $14,000,000 over three years) If they insist on not picking up Walker's option (terrible idea), its imperative that they move Cedeno to 2nd. I'd be rooting for the Cardinals. The White Sox winning would be hell in Chicago for Cubs' fans. In fact, I'd love to see the Sox get up 3-0 next round and choke away the series.

The only reason Tennessee would ever be ranked above Bama is because of the ridiculously stupid pre-season polls. I've watched both teams several times (and I'm not pro or anti SEC, I'm a ND fan), and Alabama is BY FAR a better team at this point. The SEC is down in a big way this year. Tennessee has played no better than a 15-20 team this season. Alabama and Georgia are the only two SEC teams I'd have in the top 10 right now.

Really? I seem to see a lot of Barry Bonds on BarryCenter and Barry Tonight. Doesn't he play in San Francisco? P.S. Ichiro-mania, Beane-ball, Vlad, Griffey while in Seattle, the Dodgers when they're good...these all get or got a lot of attention. West Coast baseball just hasn't been great in recent years, hence the lack of star coverage.

How in the world is that forward progress and our run on the goal line wasn't? Our FB was stopped for a full second or two on the goal line and we stopped MSU for half a second. Either way, lets hold em.
