Did anyone catch any first round games tonight? I was in attendance for Vanderbilt-Austin Peay and, wow, what a game. Vandy eeked out a win on a dribbler to second in the bottom of the 11th, 2-1. David Price is just ridiculously awesome. 17 k's in 9 innings of work! Gave up 1 run on 5 hits. Vandy's offense stalled big time against APSU, but they were able to put together a rally in the end to pull out the victory. APSU will play Memphis tomorrow in an elimination game while Vandy plays Michigan. I'm not sure the Commodores have what it takes to win the whole thing, but we sure are tough with Price on the hill. P.S. Casey Weathers pitched the 10th and 11th for Vandy and recorded 5 strikeouts. 22 k's on 33 outs...not bad for one night!

Who was the great big man on all those Bulls teams? What about the Pistons, both the 90's version and today's version?

Maybe that's why they weren't counted. I could see them throwing those out as one person's attempt to put their team over the top.

How can that be? I'm listed as #1 and I definitely have the most overall points. I also have Florida and G'Town along with UCLA/Ohio State.

Amazing...can't wait until someone gets a better video online. I'm shocked that CBS sportsline hasn't gotten some footage up on demand. This is an all-time classic comeback.

I don't buy this. After playing and coaching for many years, I just don't think "acting" jobs happen that often, especially in the heat of a moment of a tight NCAA game. Things are happening too quickly to stop and think like that. Now, once players hit the ground, sure some acting goes on. But its giving Xavier's player a ton of credit to think that in a split second upon being hit he decided to put on the act while flying out of bounds.

Yeah, I have 7 out of 8 as well and all final 4 teams left. I need UNC and UCLA to win their games. I need UCLA and Georgetown. I've got Florida and Ohio State as well.

Well, I've got seven of the eight Elite 8 teams...not too bad. If UCLA pulls off the win over Kansas, I think I can win the NSBB bracket.

Wow, very rarely do the studio guys call out officiating like this. In fact, I think sometimes they shy away from showing controversial footage. I hate when officials won't make the right call because of the time on the clock.

These announcers are out of their minds...that was a terrible call. It was a textbook block by Durant.

Count this among the rampant social phenomena I don't get at all. What social phenomena? Please don't turn this into something that it's not. Noah is an ugly, obnoxious dude. Pittsnogle was the ugly guy last year.

Can we cut this crap out? There's no place for it in a conversation among adults. It is a real point. There stats are going to be skewed because they play teams with less offensive talents. Almost winning feels great, but you still lost. No one is disputing your point. The way you're saying things, though (i.e. " pittiful little conference") takes away credibility. No one can respect your points if you're not respectful.

Correction on a previous post---Holy Cross would have a great shot against a 4 seed, but not Oregon. I think Oregon deserves better, however, than a 4.

Oregon has a better chance at the Elite 8 than Washington State, imo. WSU just doesn't boast the big wins that Oregon does. Wins over Georgetown and UCLA are huge, especially since I think they are both Elite 8 teams.

Not exactly a bold prediction. BTW, I'm an IU fan and I love our defense...I just don't like the way we're playing and could see us getting a rough 7/10 or 8/9 matchup. If we play a middle of the pack Big East team, we're in trouble.
