Walker's also lowering his trade value by doing this. Maybe some of it is intentional, although I hope not. Hopefully it's just a miscommunication and Todd and Dusty will iron it out quickly man to man. -
This is ridiculous. The same argument between Cubbie Rich and a bunch of other people (with the same points) happened not so long ago. It obviously didn't convince him/her then and it won't now...and I don't recall anyone being won over by Cubbie Rich's arguments either.

This isn't anything new for him. Why do you think other teams have let his "great" bat leave for very little or nothing at all? He's giving the job to Hairston with his mouth, that's for sure. Shut up and play is right. The job is his if he'd just do that. -
And a similar example can be presented for wins...and it is much more likely to take those extreme scenarios (such as no run support) vs someone giving up 9 H vs. 9 HR.

Japan's fate is still in their hands. It's not like they're out of the tournament. A Japan/US rematch in the Semis would be sweet.

The WBC has been a lot better than I thought, but next time around we need some better umps and different pitch count rules.
