What does Glendon Rusch have to do with Andy Sisco? If Sisco was still in the organization, he'd likely be in the same position as Marshall, Guzman and Ryu. In other words, Rusch still would of gotten a $5 mil, 2 year contract. The title of the thread makes the comparison. Ha! Well there you go. Still, the point remains the same. Yeah. I have no idea either. It does make a little sense in that they are both lefties, but it's not like Sisco was lights out in A ball (when the Cubs let him go). He got stuck in KC with a crappy team that let him get some ML experience and he did ok. He wouldn't have overtaken Marshall or Hill in the depth chart. Basically, Sisco would never see the light of day in the Cubs org thanks to our starting pitching situation. Still, Sisco's limited success comes at the league minimum. Rusch's crappiness costs us millions. What a freaking waste. My comment came more from a disgust with Rusch rather than Sisco love.
