if wells is on the block, he'll probably end up in NY. i'd definitely swap wells for cpat, but i don't think Toronto would. they'd have to be crazy to take that.

Pierre is overrated, but I'd still like to have him. The market sucks right now. We may just have to take him. I'd like to see Pie stay in the minors for the next 1-2 years. Hairston is not going to be our regular every day center fielder come next season. His D is too shaky. We're going to stick someone out there. I don't love Pierre's price tag, but he'll do. -
and boston is usually a team with great plate discipline. :? it's a fluke. it's got to be. leiter is horrible, but somehow he's dominating AL hitters.

no, b/c then it wouldn't be legit in many people's eyes. i don't want to listen to everyone whine about how Lee tainted the Triple Crown. -
That was absolute garbage though....hitting someone in the head and charging the batter (twice - once at home and once at first). Hernandez needs a lengthy suspension. Farns will probably get more than the 2 games he got before (reduced from 3 w/o appeal)...especially since he just took wilson without charging the plate. man, he was just getting his career back on track. i hope he doesn't kick another inanimate object.

we pretty much had to decide who to keep, raffy or grace. both put up nice numbers. it does suck that we didn't get much for raffy, but we didn't create a future hole on our major league club by trading him...we didn't fill a hole by trading him either. :? -
how much money did we waste dumping Sosa? i'd still rather have burnitz in RF over Sosa at this point in time, but that money would have been nice to have.
