  1. Well, maybe the #1 defense (for another 25 minutes) can force a turnover.
  2. It's not one or the other: The problem with the Bears inability to throw the ball is a combo of several things... Lack of TE Lack of WRs Orton Turner Throw 'em in a blender and you have a horrible passing game. I do like Moose and Desmond Clark. They can use a definite reliable playmaker. Desmond Clark is bloody terrible.
  3. ssshhhhh! don't jinx it.
  4. Nobody gets it because it's not true. I disagree. How often does Turner call a deep post or fly? Or a crossing pattern? Most of the time it's a sideline fade, or a quick slant. how many times has Orton overthrown the ball? that 1st pass to Clark was just a ridiculous catch, which would have been picked otherwise. the throw to Berrian was actually a takeaway by Berrian. that was a pick until the WR stole it. let's not give orton a pass b/c of 2 great plays from his WR. Well, the ball an the first throw was put in a nice place between 2 defenders, and he let someone make a play for him. The long pass to Berrian was a little underthrown, but still, it was well enough that Berrian had a play on the ball.
  5. Does Wade even know the rules regarding touchbacks and punts?
  6. If they can get a stop here, maybe the offense will help you out :D Thanks, D! Now lets score again
  7. If they can get a stop here, maybe the offense will help you out :D
  8. I can't see the game, overpursuit? Poor tackling. bAD SAFETY PLAY

  10. If the D can force a big play TO, we have a fools hope.
  11. it helps when your receivers are making spectacular catches. The ball had to be there and not 5 feet over their heads to make those catches though....give the guy SOME credit...not a lot....just a smidge... Unless you're the Colts or Bengals, most of the time you just have to put your recievers in a position to make a play. Orton did that.
  12. So instead of a TD plus conversion/FG game, we have a 2 TD game. The D needs to 3 and out Pitt from here on out, but they've shown nothing that says they can.
  13. how do you miss a PAT?? :x :x
  14. Yeah, he should have let Orton loose in the 2nd quarter.
  15. Wow, nice play! All Orton's deep ball needed was a snowstorm..
  16. how does Clark catch that and not the easy ones?
  17. In a blizzard. If we come back and make this a one possesion game, I'll send everyone who posted in this thread a dollar.
  18. So does anyone think we can score 18 points in 1 quarter without at least 2 turnovers? This is like one of those video games where nothing goes right for you, the CPU catches every break and you get beat down to wreck a perfect season.
  19. Jeez. Someone recover a fumble already
  20. The defense, again, should be embarrased.
  21. If there was a time for Turner to take the diapers off orton (even with the snow), you'd think it would be down 18.
  22. God, Lovie is such a crap coach. What a dumb call. 4th and 7 in a blizzard on the 35, just go for it, or punt it. Don't try some dumb pooch punt.
  23. come on now...
  24. What an annoying game to watch.
  25. come ON bears...get the ball back.
