Considering Dopirak has already been at AA, your "prediction" would be pretty meaningless, now wouldn't it? Do you post just for the sake of posting most of the time, or do you ever have actual content to contribute? Just curious. What the hell? Was there any point to this? He did say "significant" time, so he qualified his post. I'm not sure why you have a problem with Vance, but there was no reason to post this. And as far as Brian and Ryan go, I think they have Beer League Softball in their future. Their trade value is probably PTBNL in a waiver deal. They're pretty much total busts. -
All are welcome. Where's that photoshop of Totti going off the diving board? Also, I probably hate Gattuso more than any other player in the world. More than Blanco or Oswaldo Sanchez? Or pretty much any player on the Mexican team, for that matter. Ooh, I had forgotten about Sanchez, he may have to be Arch Villian 1A. See, I don't hate Sanchez. It's hard to hate someone who gets owned every time you face him. I actually dislike Rafa Marquez much, much more.

The quality start statistic is so stupid. 3 ER in 6 IP = 4.50 ERA Is that really what anyone would consider "quality" pitching? From the worst pitcher on my squad? I'll take it from my #5. I'll accept it, but I won't like it. How many teams in baseball have a #5 starter with a 4.50 ERA or better? I would guess not many. That doesn't make it acceptable.

Barring some sort of crazy waiver deal, the best solutions to our CF, SS, C, Marquis and RF issues are: -Play Pie full time in CF. Hit him 7th or 8th, and at least get above average defense out of it. -Your middle IF should be Theriot and DeRosa, or Cedeno and Theriot with DeRosa moving between 2B and RF. -Play Murton and DeRosa more in RF. -Call up Soto and play him over Kendall. -As far as Marquis goes, if we get into September and he sucks, I'm sure Lou will do what Dusty did with Shawn Estes in 2003 and stick him in the bullpen and go with a 4 man rotation. We don't really have an in house replacement for a starter right now. I can see Fox, Moore, Pie, Soto, Miller, Cherry, Gallagher and Petrick all being September callups.

It's a very weak hope, but I hope the increased media attention and scrutiny the Galaxy will be under will help him get used to playing well under heavy expectations. If that biffed header in the Chelsea game is any indication, it probably won't work out. You mean the header that you'd have to try and miss?

I jokingly suggested Fulham, but a mid-table team would be best. I doubt his style of play would fit well anywhere but Arsenal, and the Arse would never want him. So, there you are. Newcastle, Bolton...Spurs. Reading. Someplace like that. he could certainly learn a thing or two from berbatov I think if he were to willingly go to the EPL, it would have to be a London-based side. I can't see him going to anywhere "out in the country", so to speak. So that's who, Arsenal, Spurs, Fulham and Chelsea, right? west ham too, i thought. and sometimes charlton. " Hmm...West Ham would be an interesting option. I still doubt he moves overseas.
