  1. I think this is Sir Alex trying to bargain hunt.
  2. Alex is a good guy. Good for him.
  3. Oh, and just to complete the day, Deuce is out for at least a couple weeks with a muscle injury.
  4. Wolfie should be happy that FC Hollywood is in the CL semifinal. Sir Alex is off his rocker for starting Rooney today.
  5. Oooo I love it when you are proven wrong so you try and change what was argued so you can look right. The post you quoted was ... You then had some guy who said in all his 30 years he can't remember a case quite like the one you were talking about. I just showed you two cases in 2010 that were very similar to that one plus one from 2004-05 that may have been the one that I remember from class. Were we talking about $20,000 in this argument? No. That was a different argument so shut the [expletive] up and stop trying to be a cool smug prick because you don't know what you are talking about and that was evident when you had to email someone else to have any knowledge on the subject. You then chose to take that guys one sentence response as if it was gospel. Try doing some of your own research rather than passing off others hoping it is right. So when you were talking about a $20,000 fine, you really meant to type $7,000? Also, Kyle emailed the guy, not me. So your reading comprehension is on par with the rest of your skills.
  6. And that none of them were remotely close to $20,000. Even when you're trying to prove people wrong, you can't do it right.
  7. Two years ago I thought he was missing something from his game-the ability to be selfish and just dominate on his own. I thought he deferred too much. I'm an idiot. What a player.
  8. I like to think that K would've just turned to dust, having being vanquished by that all that is pure and good in this world. I would have enjoyed seeing which high-functioning autistic face that Scheyer would have come up with.
  9. Perhaps Jim Nantz would have raised his voice with a slight amount of excitement.
  10. Chris Collins has a title?
  11. Now Coach K gets to act like a douche and talk about the brave Butler kids and how he's proud of his guys. Then he'll pull a switchblade on a recruit and smack someone's mother.
  12. How does Hayward not touch the ball there?
  13. $1,000 fine for missing station ID= almost $20,000. I almost make $100,000,000 per year with this math.
  14. One would think that slapping a $20k fine on a Podunk IN high school radio station would garner just a little bit of attention, though.
  15. So it's not the completely different story that Kyle linked then? Can you point me in the right direction or did this former mailroom employee of the FCC sign the same confidentiality agreement all your sources do. I'm pretty sure it was Beech Grove High School but I could care less to try and find the specific one that was talked about in my class form two years ago. Also it isn't my source. It was my professors. He got a copy of the letter either from the school or through the FCC where he used to work. According to the FCC and the various media outlets, the amount of the fine was $7,000, not $20,000. It was for filing it's license late, not forgetting a station ID. So, as usual, you're wrong.
  16. I saw that ish yesterday. DC is so freaking bad. The chip by Mansally was solid. Del Piero for Seattle makes sense. I've heard the name Gattuso tossed in there as well but Alonso is pretty solid for a d-mid, and I'm not sure why anyone would waste a DP spot on a D-Mid. RBNY would be dumb as hell to not relegate Kandji to the bench. He's really bad. Last night's game was the best I've seen him. Usually he's like an epileptic giraffe on ice.
  17. He wrote a 900 page paper on the FCC. No but I did have a media law prof that worked for the FCC for nearly a decade. Was that the one that got you the in with Senator Pelosi?
  18. Bum, please remove the soccer sig. It's hurting my soul.
  19. I'm excited to see what NY and Seattle do with it. Seattle could use another attacking mid. Or someone other than Levesque. Seattle and RBNY might be the two best teams to watch in the league. Great passing and flow, no route one, the ball on the deck most of the time. Tim Ream is pretty good.
  20. That sucks. He's been solid for you guys, and his Section 6 idea should be mandatory for every team in every sport.
  21. This got missed, but MLS, effective immediately, added an extra Designated Player slot and an option for teams to buy a 3rd.
  22. Drogba 2 yards offside on that goal.
  23. I think it's just that most of his attacking teammates in LA suck. Name one that doesn't. That is a sad sack attack without him. Fortunately that back line is probably the best in MLS. I rate Sean Franklin pretty highly, and Gonzalez is solid as well. The CM from Brasil that they have been playing is straight up terrible. Todd Dunivant in the midfield, too? Yeesh.
  24. I think it's just that most of his attacking teammates in LA suck.
