Sinclair's not wrong; Canada was completely hosed by those two calls. The first (holding the ball too long before putting it back into play) is almost never, ever, ever called at the international level. I can't even recall the last time I saw it called. To be fair, their keeper was pretty stupid about how she was handling restarts, but still, it's so rare of a call, and in that kind of a situation, it's harsh. The handball was less dubious, but you can make the case that the ball played her arm, and her arm was in a natural position, ie not extended at a right angle to her body or something. The L.O.T.G. state a handball has to be intentional, more or less, to be called a PK. Now, I've seen that one called plenty, so it's more of a ref's discretion thing. But the combination of the two makes it pretty shady. Combine this with other calls against Canada when playing the US (mostly on the men's side; there was a completely botched offsides call in a Gold Cup semi in 2007 which wiped a tying goal off the board in stoppage time), and I totally understand why she would feel aggrieved.
