It's pretty stupid to assume that everything in our system will break the way we want it to, to the point where we have both a wave of ML ready guys we want to keep AND a bunch of top talent to trade for hypothetically available guys in 3 years.

I guess, but if the premise is that this guy is full of [expletive], why wouldn't he say "yeah, I'll totally commit to the next WCQ" now, when he can get himself into a glamour friendly to help put himself in the shop window for January so he can get out of his crappy club, and then immediately cite "i need to stay at my club blahblahblah" then? I don't believe anything he commits to until I see him in a cap tying match.

You let Roy Milller shoot. That sums up why that franchise is a joke. That was the single worst 15 minutes of decision making and execution in the history of me watching sports. And I include 2003 Game 6 in that. That was a [expletive] dumpster fire of screwups.

This game is the best thing ever. It has everything. A classic idiot Marquez move. A blown PK after a completely correct encroachment call. A total "seeeee laaaa perdioooo" from McCarty.

Omar Gonzalez finally deciding he'd had enough of Lenhart's crap and tossing him around and knocking him on his ass all night was the best. Also, I compiled a list of strikers who didn't suck last night. Not making the list were CJ Sapong, Will Bruin, whatever that was that subbed in for Will Bruin that found itself in the worst 2v1 in the history of soccer, Edson Buddle, Wondo, Lenhart, and whatever Swede LAG put in that blew like 4 chances to put the game away. Basically, only Kei Kamara (?!?), Keane and Landon were good. Very much looking forward to some more hot, hot MLS action tonight.

I think it was Roach at the bottom of the screen, he started to put his finger up and look around behind him, instead of blocking the one guy who could stop it (in this case, the punter just slowed Hester up enough for the guy to catch him). He was pointing at Hester to go left so he could block the other guys on the right. He was directing him as to the best way to go.
