  1. What's with Marshall today?
  2. I really wish they'd stop the Hester on offense thing
  3. Lord, if they got in, I'd strongly prefer playing in Green Bay over playing in CLink. They'd get curbstomped in Seattle. In Green Bay, you'd have a punchers chance.
  4. Yea. I think we need SF to win tonight for that game to matter to GB, IIRC. Everyone realizes that Packers/Vikings is just as big of a rivalry (if not bigger) than Packers/Bears, right? The game will still matter, Christian Ponder is still their QB, and GB will still probably win. Yea, strength of "rivalry" is not something I really take into account. You gotta throw out things like "records," "stats," and tangible things when rivalries are in play......... Yeah, because that's what I said, isn't it?

The game will still matter, Christian Ponder is still their QB, and GB will still probably win. Yea, strength of "rivalry" is not something I really take into account. Firstly, we need Seattle to win for this game to mean something to Green Bay. Next, if that happens, that "rivalry" (which typically I don't buy into but those two teams and fanbases truly, truly hate each other) will simply amp up the meaning for both teams. And in that sort of game, I'll take midget Rodgers and Green Bay over fricking Christian Ponder, even if it is in that dome.
  6. Seattle isn't going to lose up there.

  8. Marshall also has to catch that. Also, that was more OPI than any of Alshon's last week.
  9. Marshall has to catch that.
  10. Jesus, shoot Hester into the sun via rocket already.
  11. Nice. Finally a bit of luck.
  12. That's such a borderline call. We've had terrible luck the past few weeks.
  13. Unreal. Nice defense, New Orleans. Well played.
  14. That wouldn't have made a difference now. If New Orleans holds on, they will have given the Bears 1/3 of what they needed. They need Baltimore and Joe Flacco not to suck again, though, as well. It will come down to Green Bay, or Seattle blowing two games in their fortress.
  15. I don't know how disinterested Green Bay will be. Rivalry game, playing for a seed, potentially knocking said rival out of the playoffs...
  16. Anytime Houston wants to stop playing stupid, that would be great.
  17. Jesus, Villa is garbage.
  18. I was tossing it in there because of the earlier assertions that Swisher would fit perfectly or that Jackson would make it all better. Except that nobody said Jackson would make it all better.
  19. Irrationally, I've never cared for DeJesus. But you're probably right.
  20. I know you get all worked up and all, and I won't disagree with you saying he shouldn't be counted on to start and I'm not saying he's very good offensively, but his defense has always been one of his strong suits. It's ok to admit that he sucks offensively but he's good defensively.
  21. Jackson? As in Brett? If you are worried about OF defense, yeah. He's a very good defensive CF. But again, this is hypothetical, since I'm not sure signing Swisher would be a great idea.
  22. Perfect? As what, a RF? RF, middle of the order power bat, sub for Rizzo at 1B, great OBP. That's going to leave a really sketchy OF defense. Our OF isn't exactly cavernous, though. Not that I'm necessarily advocating for Swisher, but couldn't you get away with him in RF and Jackson in CF?
