  1. he was cleared by the MEDICAL STAFF you dumb goon Also, he looks like he's walking the same way he always walks. If the announcers weren't blathering about it, would anyone honestly think he's hurt? he looked pretty terrible on that last third down throw. It looked like he and Marshall got mixed up.

  3. He...didn't look particularly limpy right there.
  4. I'll bet if anything, his groin tightened up at halftime and that's why he's sore and such.
  5. Okay, FOX. Way to cut away. Was he walking on the field or getting called off?
  6. Of fricking course Cutler is going out hurt.
  7. Shouldn't Jack Wilshire be out injured with one of his usual muscle ailments?
  8. I'm going to preface this by saying that it's despite United being up 1-0 right now: I can completely see why Man U are very average this year. David Moyes is the wrong coach for these players. He's playing completely away from their strengths by forcing all the attacks on to the flanks. He's utterly wasting Shingi Kagawa. They'll be okay because their defense is still pretty good, and Rooney and van Persie are still great players, but they won't be winning anything unless Moyes understands that he isn't at Everton having to bargain shop and play games like he's stuck in a time warp from 1997. ETA: Arsenal look totally incompetent tonight.
  9. Make sure you make it clear that he's tweeting from a Cricket Wireless prepaid phone.
  10. Thankfully he's only in one. For some reason I thought it was two..maybe that's how bad it was.
  11. The Martin Short AD episodes are completely terrible. One of the worst things put on film. He's amazingly not funny.
  12. That Portland/SSFC game was a beatdown. Not even close. Seattle need a new coach, and a better midfield.
  13. LOLRBNY. Tonight's games are going to be great.
  14. Good god Mike Murphy was awful. Just awful.
  15. Kaplan has the exact same over the top hate of Ramirez. Don't ever forget that. Oh, I haven't. Don't worry. The only difference is that Kaplan would sometimes give ARam credit for the good things he did, whereas Rozner never liked him and took any and every opportunity to take shots at the only good 3B we've had since the late 60's. Kaplan indulged the meatball hate of the jogging and bat-flipping. Rozner incited it. Make no mistake: this is a choice between bad and marginally less bad. But there is a clear gap in bad between the two, and if I could pick only one to launch via rocket into the sun, it would be Rozner. Bill Madlock gets no love. 3 seasons vs 9 seasons.
  16. Boers and Bernstein sadly made a proactive announcement and wouldn't let Wilson nation call up and ask for McCown to get another start. They were too busy telling everyone how much the Bears still suck despite this game. They were right to do so. McCown is a wonderfully competent backup (a rarity enough for the Bears in the Cutler era); not a long-term starter.

  18. Kaplan's a meatball, but occasionally gets an opinion right and I think he genuinely wants the Cubs to succeed, despite his persistent pandering to the lowest common denominator. Rozner is a racist jerkass who warms himself at night snuggling with his Greg Maddux hairdoll. And like N&G, his over the top Ramirez hate alone makes him punchable.
  19. Good. He's a hack and his coaching is bad and he should feel bad.
  20. Good god those two are hot. Anyone buy the rumors that Mexico is going to end up DQ'd for using Chaco Gimenez in the Hex?
  21. Please tell me that's a satire and I just didn't bother to read the last page of the thread or something, because that's the least insightful observation ever.
  22. I've never understood this argument. It's not like all of a sudden the AL teams can only have 24 guys on their rosters. This would actually make it more likely that a marginally talented hitter would get a roster spot as a defensive replacement just about every game. There would still be the same number of players on rosters, they'd just be arranged a bit differently. They wouldn't agree to losing 15 job spots that make s crapton more money than some random all glove Rey Ordonez type who gets onto a roster as the 25th man.
  23. -RBNY is just better; the key moment in that game was the ball played behind Anongono instead of leading him in the 8th minute. Klopas is a pretty poor coach as well. You have half a starting lineup of hacks, and then you pull Duka and Nyarko (who I don't like, still, but he's better than Amerikwa) for no reason, and to add a dash of incompetence to it, moved Magee away from goal to the wing. It's no coincidence to me that the instant those two went out, the Fire midfield stopped having any semblance of midfield possession. They need to replace both CMs and get an actual striker to pair with Magee. Also they need to replace the coach. That team was terrible and was only saved by Arena's stupidity in trading for Rogers. -Dempsey gets his first last night.
  24. #poortomrickets would hire barry zuckercorn as his attorney He's very good.
  25. Peyton Manning being the best QB in the league for like a decade had less to do with the Colts and national awareness of them than his "Q" rating, huh? Go on. I find your ideas intriguing and would like to subscribe to your newsletter.
