    Only a stupid front office would spend draft picks they need to fill defensive holes for Ryan Mallet. Worst case scenario is the franchise tag. It buys them another year and allows them to draft at need positions.

    For the most part, we're still dire without Landon or Clint. Altidore, Dempsey, Donovan, and Bradley have never been on the field together once in Klinsmann's 2+ years in charge.

    Forgot about him. I'd let him walk. You can't have a DP be a bench player. That's money that can be invested in the backline. SSFC isn't as far away as one might think watching their last six weeks, but they do have to make the correct moves.

    Launch Martens and Gspurning. Replace both CBs. Buy Mix to play CM along with Alonso. Clint and EJ up top. Also, replace Sigi w/ Bob Bradley.

    Oh hell yeah. Agudelo has secretly been the most dynamic player in the league this year. I'd rather have him than Valeri, Magee, Cahill, Morales or any of the other MVP candidates people talk about. His goal coversion/chances rate has been incredible and the difference between the Revs with him on the field and off is huge. There's a reason Diego Fagundez has had so much room to operate and get a bunch of attention from the media and fans. Agudelo has been great. In fact, at this point it's even money as to who ends up the EPL season with the most goals, him or Altidore. +1 to all of this. Agudelo was very good this year. Hopefully his work permit goes through and he completes the move to Stoke.

    I knew this would happen. Also, I really enjoy the irony of these meatballs calling him "McNown"... ETA: If there was a halfway decent sports press in this city, this nonsense wouldn't be as widespread and prevalent. Instead, we have 95% of the media feeding into this derp.

    And instead of people praising him for gutting out a halfway decent performance, you'll have them bitching about how he should have come out. Yeah I know. It's one thing though if we have a backup QB that can't do anything. But the drop off, if any, wasn't going to be much. Cutler was cleared, so I have no issue with him starting the game. And he looked fine in the first half, until the very end, when Trestman's play calling left him doing far too much nonsense, and left him open on being hit. And then in the second half, I feel like I can count on one hand the number of dropbacks where he wasn't hit. Trestman's play calling should have protected his QB from some of that. And the running game being a festival of suck contributed, since I kind of doubt the plan was for him to throw the ball 40 times.

    Its so enjoyable watching Spurs misfire. I relish every time they're blanked.
