  1. And Bud Selig is going to document that baseball.
  2. Tell us what it was like, Grandpa. Post of the year. LOL
  3. "Hope is a dangerous thing. It has no place on the inside. It can drive a man insane." Red in Shawshank Redemption
  4. Will peeing on it make injuries heal faster?
  5. Ranking the ones I've been to: 1. Wrigley 2. Coors 3. Kaufman 4. Texas Rangers (can't recall the name of the park right now) 5. Turner Field 6. Busch 7. Tropicana (Devil Rays) 8. Metrodome 9. The old Astrodome (smelled like a wet basement) My last three are domes which should be outlawed!
  6. How did you get Neifi out of that? If I would have just read that quote I would have thought he was talking about Walker. Because according to His Dustiness, "Neifi saved us."
  7. Ponson and Ray King could rule in WWF tag team. The Round Mounders.
  8. Directv also offers the Fox Sports Package of channels. It seems like that there are less restrictions regarding blackouts and you keep the channels all year long for about the same amout of money as the Extra Innings package.
  9. Yes, it should have won some award for hair styling. Quaid, Harelson, and Murray's hair were all great aspects of their characters. Also, very funny last line of the movie, "Bye, slut."
  10. Is Wuhl supposed to be funny? Who knew?
  11. Is this going to be old film footage? If you made a move, who would play Harry? Certainly not Will Ferrell!
  12. 1/29/06 Arkansas vs. Kentucky. Once again under Stan Heath, Arkansas snatches defeat from the jaws of victory.
  13. I voted for Louisville as a contrast to the styles of many of the Big Ten teams. It would be interesting to see how the Cardinals would match up in both basketball and football.
  14. I was depressed too. I listened to Harry and Jack Buck do Cardinal (yes, Cardinal) baseball on KMOX radio, while growing up in Southern Illinois. At that time, there was just one game a week on tv at noon on Saturday. My childhood baseball memories are of Harry and Buck on the radio. I still love the sound of any baseball game on the radio. Harry's passing was another lost link to my youth. Harry was one of a kind. I liked that Harry was just like a fan who walked into a broadcast booth and called the game. He didn't worry about being politically correct. Harry let you know how he felt, right or wrong. RIP, Harry
  15. I voted Walker but wasn't completely satisfied with any of the choices.
  16. We should have traded Patterson for Pujols before anyone saw this information. :)
  17. Unless the baby blue makes a comeback as their home alternate. Agreed. The panjama uniforms of the 80's were terrible.
  18. This is like when Larry Bird entered the dressing room before a three point contest and asked, "Which one of you is going to come in second?"
  19. My only hope is Dusty does not try and sandwich Jones between them whatever order they bat. That would be bad. It was painful to watch him do it with Burnitz for 1/2 the year last year, but I'm strangely optimistic that he learned his lesson. "Dusty... learned" I have yet to see any evidence of this.
  20. I don't know if Corey can turn it around in Baltimore. But I do think that he had to get out of Chicago.
  21. There's nothing like watching a Cubs game on WGN on a lazy summer afternoon. Now only if WGN would show the number of games that they used to.
  22. This is someone who knows Dusty's fetish for experience.
  23. That's what the late Rick James said.
