You figure he can do that better from the 4th spot than the 6th, eh? More at bats. There only needs to be 3 additional baserunners to get him up there a 4th time. I would be happy to leave Barrett there for a while. Percentage of baserunners driven in thru 24 May BDI LOB PCT Barrett 15 50 0.231 Ramirez 14 64 0.179 Team 121 551 0.180 Ramirez is hot now, he's overwhelmingly likely to exceed those numbers. Plus, Barrett is soon to be suspended. When he starts driving in baserunners, I'll be the first one on the bandwagon. It may be awhile. Don't you need baserunners to drive them in. At least he's doing an above average job of driving in himself.

Wow, I feel like crying at times. This has been very destructive on me. I nearly lost a TV remote with the Neifi bunt fiasco. The only way my interest can be revived is if we get some of them kids up. I don't see how the temporary triple crown can be avoided with Barrett's suspension. Ummm Go DJAXX! -

Time to give Soto a shot. He can hold down the backup catchers spot as well as Blanco at league minimum while hitting better until Reed/Fox get close to the majors.

No control in his major league starts. Starting last year he started finally throwing some more strikes in his minor league starts, but it doesn't translate to the majors. At 26, there's only so much time for him to work it out.
