  1. this is pissing me off sooo bad... this is the worst basketball ive seen in a while...
  2. im getting sick... they cant secure a rebound... ??? where the %%% is the defense... and wtf is going on?????????? :x :x
  3. this is getting really really ugly.... :x :x
  4. this is nothing but EMBARASSING! :x
  5. Just like he isn't hitting 410 this year, he isn't going to hit HRs at his current pace. What proves this? I mean, we know he won't hit .400 because his babip is unsustainable, but what is there that says that his power will come around? well his hr/fb rate is insanely low, more than half his normal rate. we know he's hitting the ball with authority, so it stands to reason that the HR will come with time. I'd imagine he goes on a tear sometime relatively soon unless he stops hitting the ball hard. Then again, we've been waiting for that tear for about 3 weeks now, so we'll see. i also think that, Lee's power will come soon.. again, he just needs to continue to hit the ball hard.
  6. Going into that division, the hitting, hmm i think it could.. or he just might dominate.... and the hitters of the Yanks cant score a run.. (just like the astros)
  7. same here, i dont see the Brewers running away with this division, at least i hope they dont.
  8. this really sucks for the Twins... but, there still not going down.
  9. no. Wait i wish they would, wont be surprised if hes in his 50's and is still pitching.
  10. Once I believe, but that's when he really overthrew the batter, walking him during the process, and I believe that's one of the runs came from. IIRC, I think it was 2 outs, bases loaded, and full-count, the fans were standing, cheering, and he overthrew the pitch. yep.. now i remember! :D though at the time i really wasnt smiling..
  11. i would go along and say 99.9%
  12. i dont think so... i saw him get to 97, either that or i just didnt notice.
  13. and the famous Bob Brenly saying, "i would love to have 8 ecksteins in my lineup"..
  14. ROFL well, what can you say other that he just flat out lost it, in the lights?
  15. You can go a long way towards 90+ wins just by beating up on the crap teams and playing 500 against the good ones. Especially in the NL where there's an abundance of crap, and not a lot of the goods. agreed. Back to the old saying, "beat the teams you should". Last year's team sucked at that. last years and the year before im pretty sure..
  16. I think he'll do great.. (well thats me thinking) so im not sure..
  17. ahhh.... the never ending Pettite and Clemens....
  18. aaahhh well maybe this way he wont hit game winning 2 run homeruns off us, pfft maybe someone else will. :x
  19. I always wondered why they didnt play him?

  21. It was 2-0 with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth, game tied. If he walks Aramis, Cubs win. I think it's safe to guess it would have been a strike. nah, the third pitch definately would have been ball three. it was significantly outside and high IMO. Oh, I know, I saw it. What I meant was, I think it was fair for Rammy to expect a strike. agreed, at first i didnt like it when Ramirez swung at it, but you never know that pitch could've been down the middle with a 2-0 count.
  22. If not, they are very easy to find. But the Cubs have Soriano for 8 years. They have Pie and Murton. They have Floyd this year, and possibly next. They've got Colvin in the minors as well. The best thing for this current team is probably keeping Jones in center, with Floyd and Murton splitting time in right (and Pie in the minors). But I won't complain if they make a decent trade of Jones and keep Pie in center. In your mind, what would be a decent trade?
  23. i like that kid Brandon siler... wonder why he hasnt been picked yet..
  24. THE LEADDDDDDD!!!!!!!!
