  1. They will. Even if Dungy fades to Bolivian they already have the most marketable player in the NFL (probably NFL history), and with their offensive players' strong ties to the fantasy football world, they will have a ton of people who want to talk to them forever. I see Sanders becoming a media darling from the defensive side. If Bob can stay healthy, he'll easily become one of the more popular defensive players in the game.
  2. I have the TiVo receiver in my living room, and the DirecTV DVR in one of the bedrooms. I hate their DVR and was pissed when I found out that wasn't going to be a TiVo unit. Plus their remote has no logical flow, and how do I get the GD guide to just pop up without having to select options (pressing guide then selecting all channels)?
  3. Is the jinx for the big picture or anyone on the cover? This could be a case where both teams lose.
  4. No curfew + Miami = Bad idea. Is Tank on lockdown? Tank? What about Orton? I was wondering about those who actually play.

  6. Didn't he pull the same crap last year? Wanting a big payday and settling for a 1 year deal to strike it rich the next year.
  7. Your avatar, good sir, is dynamite. While all of the candidates are impressive, Izturis is likely to be the whipping boy here. Jones will be the one amongst casual fans because he wants to leave, and they all know Izzy drives in runs with his glove.
  8. I consider that a loss for everyone in the NL except the Cards.
  9. Rey Rnez, ladies and gentlemen: http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/photo/photogallery/interleague_2003/nym_nyy/03.jpg
  10. Bears are #1 in the league vs Tight Ends. I really don't remember a tight end doing a lot of damage to the Bears this season. Yeah-I don't see Clark making a large dent in the passing game, but I do think he can clear out some of the crossing routes for the WR's (by going deep and drawing one of the linebackers out) or for Addai on swing routes out of the backfield, which has been a staple of the Colts passing game as well. It's just too hard to complete a pass on one of those linebackers, as they are really good in pass coverage. Teams have been holding TE's in to help with pass protection----that's why there haven't been many big time TE games against the Bears this season. If the Colts can get away with sending TE's out, it could be an advantage. I don't know if they will need to hold them in or not. In fact, I just have no clue whatsoever what is going to happen in this game. Clark will spend a good chunk of time in the slot. The Bears would be wise to stay in the nickel and put a safety or Ricky Manning on him vs having Briggs or Urlacher covering him.
  11. It's unbelievable... Look at the names on that list. It's ridiculous. Yet, some people would still have you think that there is no national media bias against the Bears. What a ridiculous poll. Grossman hasn't even played in the Super Bowl yet. Let's see how he does before we make him into the worst SB QB ever. The vote is for the worst QB to make it to the Super Bowl, not the one with the worst performance there. Do well in the Super Bowl, Bob Sanders. Will do.

  13. Coaching carousel (bad coaches), nagging injuries. I haven't given up on him.
  14. Ouch! Behind Bowden?
  15. Yeesh, I didn't realize how fugly he is.
  16. I can understand Mort getting his pick wrong, but Theisman? There's a shocker.
  17. I've gone into the past 3 seasons with the belief that if the Falcons won't be there, I'd like for either the Bears or Colts to win it.
