    I'll bet they find nothing that calls for surgery. But, whether he gets the knife or not, do you really want another year of this soap opera??? If by soap opera you mean choosing between having unhealthy Prior and losing him after this season or taking a chance that he can get healthy and be under control next year, then yes. I definitely want another year of the soap opera.

    Replays also show he was calling for the ball and pulled up a little short because Cedeno was barreling in on him. Had he not done that, he would have made the catch. That was the difference in making the out.

    In who's eyes? In your eyes. In my eyes the ace is the pitcher Im most confident in from start to start and right now it's hands-down Rich Hill and has been since September. I think most of us have been convinced. I was pissed that he didn't start today so that Z could stay close to his normal rest. He's been one of the more dominant starters in the league for about a half season, and a strong finish to 07 will cement him as being a legit #1. It's too bad those who count don't quite see it the same way.

    Booing sounds so much cooler from a crowd than everyone yelling their favorite expletives. Fans have a right to vent their frustrations and voice their displeasure. I think it's typically in poor taste to boo an otherwise decent performer for a short-lived cold streak, but I won't look down on 30,000 people for doing it when Ohman can't throw strikes to the only 2 people he faces.

    Throwing too many pitches hurts some, and it has no impact on others. Perhaps erring on the side of caution is a good thing.

    I should also point out that I'd like to see Felix stay in Des Moines for a little while longer because it would be a shorter drive for me to go see him play.

    No, praise him. We were BESIEGED by injuries in 2006 until Tree started an injury thread, and they leveled off after that. Then someone should start the 2008 and beyond threads.

    Cliff Floyd is good for the team IF he's healthy and stays healthy. He's a lefty who still has a lot of pop and isn't a complete butcher in the outfield. That said, I'm fully in the Murton camp. He looks be one to have an OPS similar to Floyd's, with a higher OBP and a slightly lower SLG.

    I guess you don't understand the business of baseball then. Just because all of you think Cuban is the solution and want him to buy to Cubs, it doesn't mean that MLB and the owners agree. He has no chance. Do you have inside information? If so please share. If not, your post is very presumptive. First off, anyone with baseball knowledge knows it is common sense that Cuban would not be allowed to purchase the club with the way he behaves. Second, yes I do have inside information for reason which I cannot reveal...like I like being employed. Are you a spy for the government?

    I don't know about Izturis. That 0-17 line against Harang doesn't look too promising for me, regardless of how weak Cedeno might be offensively. He's in there for his defense. He's only had one 3 error game this season.
