  1. The whole nation will finally get to see how bad this team is.
  2. I'd stick with what you have.
  3. I think Krivsky was just trying to build a relationship up with Hendry so that he could try to trade for some of our relievers later this year. Maybe they thought Hamilton was a reliever?
  4. You can when looking at Lilly's offensive history.
  5. Lilly feels sorry for Looper. I don't blame him.
  6. Has he had a good one since ST ended? lol, I'm just mad because he needed to be hitting to the right side. Wasn't there 1 out? Who cares what side he hits it to. I don't, as long as it's a base hit somewhere in the outfield.
  7. I think you may be overvaluing Wood. Very close to ARod's production and "the best" prospect? He's good, but I don't think he's quite that good.
  8. Take the bat off your shoulder. Geez.
  9. The more I hear him, the more he makes me giggle.
  10. Which came immediately on the heels of an 8 game losing streak. Which I was a proud part of. Stupid Richard Hidalgo. Story please. The only story here is my buddy who was drunk by 9 AM and passed out twice by the 6th inning in his first ever trip to Wrigley.
  11. If you could see the rest of mine, I'd win this hands down.
  12. One more for you sir. C'mon, you were the one who spewed out a terrible joke.
  13. I have a feeling not everyone understands Brian's 4/20 singer question. EDIT: My guess would have been Woody Harrelson had I actually played.
  14. We'd have a ton of organizational power at 1B with Dopirak, Fox, LaPorta, and Wieters possibly all playing there. With how many a lock to make it?
  15. I think you were right with the eye roll.
  16. Understood, I was further highlighting the lunacy.
  17. Am I winning this thing yet?
  18. Looper should be good for 22-23 runs. Then again, I said something similar about Lohse...
  19. Walks are bad, Carlos is good. He has the ability to walk a lot of people and still be extremely successful. It's a problem, but he'll be just fine. It's the fact that he walks so many that he racks up such high pitch counts. If he walks do not improve (atleast a little bit) from last year, then he will consistantly be leaving earlier in games and not being able to go 6-7 innings. And that kind of hurts your team in a small way. As well as putting more strain on himself. The question is, how much of a "horse" is he really. How much can his body keep taking. I'm not saying he's gonna be terrible. I'm just saying he has to cut back on his walks a little bit. Nobody is arguing that it's good that he walks a bunch of people. Everyone knows it's bad. It's terrible. The stories of his demise are greatly exaggerated.
