I don't understand how that makes their lineup any more impressive considering he hasn't been good this year.

Theriot is hitting .266/.330/.337. Color me unimpressed. Theriot has 39 more AB than Izturis, who was supposedly our starting SS coming out of ST. Riot is getting his playing time. I'd rather have Theriot in the lineup, at least he can drive in a run. Before last night's game Izturis was stuck at 5rbi for the longest time. 6 rbi total from your starting SS is totally unacceptable, even if you are Cesar Izturis. at the risk of sounding like I'm defending Cesar, that's a terrible way to measure a player's performance
