    Yeah, he's gotta end up getting somewhere around $20M per year. There is NO WAY CC is going to get $20 mill, unless it's the Yanks. And IDK if the new Yanks are going to break the bank on a lefty who isn't even in Johan Santana's class. If Johan can't break the $20 mill barrier, then I doubt CC (who has YET to win a Cy Young) gets more then say $15-17 mill per. He won it last year. never let facts get in the way of a good argument

    Jules: I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way. Vincent: Ah, so by that rationale, if a pig had a better personality, he would cease to be a filthy animal. Is that true? Jules: Well we'd have to be talkin' about one charmin' pig. I mean he'd have to be ten times more charmin' than that Arnold on Green Acres, you know what I'm sayin'?

    Dear Natalya, My kids still believe in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and one was arguing last night that The Undertaker really did set Kane on fire with the intention of killing him because they are mortal enemies and want each other dead.     I don't get the obsession Americans have with Japanese media in regards to Japanese players, and I'm not picking on you when I say that. Since Japanese players started coming to MLB, I've heard way too much about the Japanese media and the way they follow Ichiro, et al. I would seriously be annoyed if I were one of his teammates. I'd be annoyed if I were him.

    I disagree. Just because it might prove to be the longest thread ever (and for whatever reason, posters are trying to do that), does not necessarily translate this thread into being "the best ever". If you ask me, there's too much fluff in this thread for it to be considered to be one of the best. It's the "fluff" and not the actual on-topic discussion that makes this one of the best. Hmm. Interesting. I guess everybody's different. How do other posters/members feel about this? I feel we have to push this to 300 and beyond
