    and ESPN is reporting Boston is willing to eat the money if they get the prospects they want but nobody seems all that interested. I tend to agree with Gammons that Manny probably won't be going anywhere until the season's over

    I don't think they'll stick with 3 lefties in the pen. one of Marshall/Cotts would be my guess to go, and I don't see them sending Marshall back down

    we're not going to have leaders at every position, and Kosuke is currently sitting right around the middle of the pack in OPS for qualified right fielders. considering the terrible month he's had so far, that's not too terribly bad being his first year in MLB. add in his defense, and I don't see a huge issue with him being there. the only way I want him moving to CF is if someone like Manny or Holliday can be brought in to play one of the corners. let's not forget that Edmonds and Johnson are putting up these lines in CF respectively: 279/374/565 and 315/384/444

    I agree...but if Manny Being Manny really is available... =P~ hey, if we could swoop in and pick up somebody like Manny or Matt Holiday, I have no problems making such a move and moving Fukudome to CF. on the flip side, I'm perfectly content with the Johnson/Edmonds platoon

    I don't have a problem with making no more moves (barring injury). unless we have a legitimate shot at Matt Holliday, I don't see a need to look into making any changes to the offense.
