If only they played one this week. it should still give us a better idea of where this team is. Maine and Florida International have provided a lot of the same competition we could have gotten from some of the D3 schools around here, and Iowa State is probably looking at another long season. by the way, I wasn't implying Pitt was good. it was subtle bitching about the lack of quality opponents early in the season. I'm expecting this team to host Wisconsin with a 6-1 or 7-0 record They have 3 road games against decent teams (Pitt, Michigan State and to a lesser degree Indiana) between now and then. 3-0 would be pretty impressive. I don't see any reason this team cannot beat all 3, but I wouldn't be surprised with a loss to MSU or Indiana. I don't see how they can lose to Pitt.
