    Assuming 10/5 rights still exist, this was Giles's 5th full year in SD, meaning he would no longer need a no-trade clause specifically written into his contract in order to still have no-trade rights. ah yes, I forgot about him getting to that 5th year

    Harden was also a "victim" of extra outs with the fiasco that was the 1st inning in game 3. I was quite surprised that nobody was drilled in the ear by Z during game 2 -- I thought he did quite well given the circumstances.
