  1. Based on what I've seen lately, GB could score 2 offensive TDs and win by 28.
  2. I'm holding out hope it was just a bad grade in Quantum Mechanics or something.
  3. It's not an average, that's the point. I guess I don't quite get how all of the advanced stats work. You don't need to understand advanced stats to understand that the numbers were not an average of his 2 seasons. That's his MLB career which includes his "medicore at best 2011".
  4. and the regular season ain't a whole lot better
  5. I'm guessing it's this. http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/7359173
  6. Man, I [expletive] hated him.
  7. That Mexican cell phone piece of the complaint made me laugh.
  8. No and no. If someone from Rogers is pulling strings, I'm quite confident it's somebody who knows about that piece of the business.
  9. A parent company dictating the assets it wishes to acquire to make their product better is perfectly rational.
  10. That's all kinds of goofy. So a Canadian broadcast conglomerate is dictating the Jays' baseball operations? Maybe next they'll ask Jose Bautista to manage their 4G rollout. They also own the team. Yes I know. Then why do you find it goofy that the owner of the team is trying to control the operations of the team? That's all kinds of goofy.
  11. You'll find out Cutler, Forte, and Urlacher were all in cahoots.
  12. Don't worry, guys. This is the weekend we'll find out how much the Cubs are going to pay Fielder and how much they spent on the bid to win the rights to Darvish.
  13. July 31 of the previous season.
  14. Heyman and his damn mystery teams again.
  15. What's the current line? Palko finally got banished, which could mean they are actually competitive(if Orton is/stays healthy) or it's the worst loss yet(if Stanzi gets the nod). High comedy would ensue if Stanzi actually got the start against Green Bay.
  16. And that would be... Let me find it. I'm good at these.
  17. Maybe they meant the budget for buying baseballs would remain the same.
  18. Did I hear Heyman right last night that they were expecting the winning bid to be in the mid-to-upper 30M range?
  19. This might be the dumbest argument you've started/participated in to date.
  20. The Cubs can afford a few big contracts. What they can't afford is to fill the remaining roster spots with garbage. That's one thing they have done consistently.
  21. Horsecrap. Say that this June when Ian effing Stewart is batting .212 and we're in 4th place. He won't be doing that well. Neither will the team.
