i think we've heard enough in regards to his willingness to be traded if it helps the cubs and his willingness to go to atlanta that i'll be right to be upset if he doesn't go. I understand why some would be upset, and I wouldn't necessarily blame them.

Obviously I'd prefer to see him get dealt for a long-term asset, but he's also earned the right to stay if he wants. I'm not going to be pissed if he stays.

I'm splitting hairs because I think you're trying to discredit the report because you don't like what it says. It's not "pure speculation." That is misleading as hell. I don't give a [expletive] what it says. The whole point I made was that there isn't going to be some sort of mass revolt because Dempster doesn't want to go to the Braves right now as suggested by that one guy because a small number of lunatics on nsbb.com overreact all the time.

The Rosenthal report doesn't sound like pure speculation at all. He didn't just pull something out of his ass and report it as sourced information. That's the definition of speculation. There hasn't been any sort of proof to back that up as of right now.

Why are people booing him suddenly? I don't know if you have noticed, but there is a bit of anger directed his way for the past several pages. Honestly I still like the guy and would understand him not wanted to be traded right now. However, if you don't think people will boo him, then you must not be reading these boards well. There's like 4 idiots who are overreacting based on nothing but pure speculation. I don't think we're going to see a riot if he's pitching for the Cubs tomorrow.
