    This. I think the above rules doesn't take into account the bases being loaded bc it is such a strange play. Force outs will always be force outs no matter what. Um, the rule clearly states, "with the bases full".

    i think it's just that Maddon/advanced scouting identified lefties as a problem area for those starters we've faced and stacked all the LH hitters atop the order to exploit that Sure, and I'd get him batting 2nd or leading off, but putting him between Schwarber and Rizzo just seems weird, especially when he's inevitably pulled for a defensive replacement. Well once he gets pulled, he probably is replaced by Denorfia, at which point at least the other team has the LRL problem when playing matchups Deno can't play 2B!
