at least 2 of those are on failed hit and runs - basically gimme's. so he's really around 3 for 16, or around 20%. That's a good point.

I could be wrong on this, but I don't think that's really all that bad. Not good, but closer to "average" than "really bad". Seems really low to me.

Yes, Rolen nabbed tryinh to steal. 5 for 18 for Barrett is really bad throwing out runners.

BB was a catcher. At least he usually lets you know why he thinks a certain pitch is coming (reading a sign) instead of Stone doing the same thing and trying to look like a genius.

haha. maddux was like, "forget that, i ain't runnin' no where. someone bring my glove out to me. the dugout is too far away." That's always been a pet peeve of mine. Even though you hit a routine grounder, you should still run hard. Always. Period. No matter who you are. I agree for position players but not so much for pitchers.
