    It has nothing to do with showing emotion (or not) it has to do with him being out of control. It's undeniable that when something bad occurs he starts walking people and gets out of his game. Conversely, Maddux will have a fit on the mound when he gives up a big hit but he bears down ont he next batter. Z hasn't learned to do that!

    Growing up hasn't been working out for him too well this season. He's been pretty damn good when he hasn't been told how to act. I haven't seen Z in control of his pitches or his emotions tonight. After that run scoring double he started yapping at the umpire. There have been other instances in his previous starts.

    No, this is good. This means he is getting that trademark fire back. Maybe he can beat up the water cooler in the dugout, then he's sure to turn things around. :roll: LOL

    What are you talking about?? I was completely losing interest until that happened There was nothing cool about that. He needs to take his aggression out on the batters and start pitching well instead of risking injury.

    3-0 but who's counting? One of the announcers (not sure who it was) said that Maddux was 4-1. That's why I said 4-0. Oh, I'm watching the local broadcast. ESPN doesn't know what's going on. Yeah, I forgot that this game is also on WCIU or whatever that channel is. ESPN is blacked out here. I can only watch it on WCIU.
